Sales Meeting Tuesday January 17th, 2017

Not a bad turnout for an icy Tuesday morning meeting.  The kids got their 3rd snow day in a week!!  I’m starting to think we need to change our approach  🙂

Anyway, down to business…

It’s Lead Gen January at Century 21 United Realty!!

In addition to our regular topics of discussion, we went over some prospecting ideas to get your business hopping for 2017.

Here are some of the ideas that were discussed:

  • Tell 21 – why not put 21 business cards in your pocket each morning before leaving the house?  Don’t come home until each of these cards have been handed out.  This will prompt you to have several conversations about real estate each day – at the coffee shop, in the grocery store or at the school pickup zone. Everyone always wants to talk about real estate it seems!
  • Door knocking – why not preview a home in a neighbourhood you are interested in working?  Then doorknock around that house.  Perhaps the neighbours may know someone wanting to move into the neighbourhood?  Or they may have questions about the house listed?  Or what their house may sell for? It’s a warmer way to door knock and may get you an appointment!!
  • Call your database – ideally you should call everyone in your database 4 times per year.  As well, following up with a note after your conversation is a really nice touch.  Setting up prompts in the Activity Centre can help you stay on track.  Let us know if you need help with this, or attend Techie Thursday this week for training on how to use the Activity Centre.  It’s a great tool.

Looking forward to our next meeting to see how everyone makes out with this exercise!
